The Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS) provides funding for a personal monitored alarm which is connected to a control centre to enable people aged 65 and over of limited means to live independently and safely in their own homes.

“PORTUMNA AND DISTRICT LIONS CLUB” are the local organisation who facilitate this scheme in Portumna and surrounding areas.
